We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable and Collections Associate to work at our corporate headquarters located in Schaumburg, IL. The primary function of this position will be cash applications. Secondary responsibilities of the position will include collection and related tasks for an assigned small portfolio of accounts.
  • Perform Accounts Receivable payment receipt activities on a daily basis
  • Post wires and check exceptions
  • Set up Customer and Credit Master records; make changes for existing customer records
  • Collection activities for small-medium portfolio of customer accounts
  • Generate monthly customer statements
  • Respond to customer inquiries and/or document requests
  • Create and maintain reports for management associated with above duties
  • Perform activities associated with posting and resolving customer deductions
Qualifications (Skills - Education - Experience)
  • Prior experience in the same field
  • Intermediate plus experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); keyboard proficiency
  • Strong initiative and good interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and someone who is logic-oriented
  • Quick to learn
  • The ability to work independently while also being a dept. team member
  • SAP experience is preferred
